Community Infrastructure Levy

CIL is a levy, or charge, that local authorities like Hertsmere Borough Council can choose to apply to building developments. These funds (previously referred to as S106 monies) are then passed back to the Parish Council to be spent on a specific criteria of projects that include education, highways, recreation facilities and things that act to improve the health of the community. We don’t know when we will get CIL funds so these aren’t part of our budget. If you have an idea that you would like to see CIL Funds spent on please contact us.
