Unfortunatly it has been necessary to postpone the June meeting as there were not enough Councillors available. This will now take place on 18th June at South Mimms Village Hall.

Two candidates are standing for the one seat on the Parish Council to represent South Mimms Ward:
Mark Heddison – Independent Candidate – Brookside, South Mimms
Louise Soffer – Reform UK Candidate – Address in Hertsmere
The election will be held on Tuesday, 20th January 2026 between 7:00am and 10.00pm. Polling will be in South Mimms Village hall only.

Communities) Rules 2006.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:
(1) That a casual vacancy exists in the South Mimms Ward for South Mimms & Ridge Parish Council
due to the resignation of Councillor Daniel Becker.
(2) An election to fill the vacancy will be held if, no later than
27 November 2025, notice in writing of a request for an election is given to the Proper Officer from ten electors from the South Mimms Ward. Please mark the envelope or email as ‘Private and Confidential – Casual Vacancy’.

Mrs Bobbie Wanless has been appointed in a new role of Community Officer for the Parish Council and is resposible for organising events and running South Mimms Village Hall.
